pawenn summary of 16 Google reviews from April – October 2026
Many pet owners praise specific doctors, such as Dr. Cortesi and Dr. Pavone, for their nocturnal availability, kindness, and compassion during critical moments. Conversely, numerous critical reviews report curt telephone communication, hasty physical examinations, and an approach perceived by several visitors as lacking empathy or transparency.
While one pet guardian reports that their dog was successfully saved from severe sepsis, recent feedback concerning medical outcomes is predominantly negative. Multiple owners cite inaccurate or delayed diagnoses, sudden deteriorations during hospitalization, and therapies deemed ineffective for severe gastroenteritis and critical conditions.
The facility's 24/7 emergency service provides a continuous refuge for dogs and cats facing acute distress or delicate end-of-life care. Alongside clients praising gentle handling during hospital stays, several owners voice distress over insensitivity to animal suffering, aggressive hospitalization proposals, and inadequate support for exotic pets.
Yes, the facility maintains round-the-clock emergency veterinary coverage day and night to receive urgent cases in Rome.
Recent reviews indicate that staff may refer owners of rabbits or exotic species to external specialized hospitals.
Several clients suggest thoroughly discussing hospitalization proposals and projected costs with the attending team.
