pawenn summary of 7 Google reviews from October 2024 – October 2026

While one disappointed client reported persistent biting after boarding, other reviewers highlight that even shelter dogs deemed unadoptable were successfully rehabilitated.
Clients frequently commend head trainer Blake and the Lower East Side team for their exceptional expertise with complex canine cases and accessible follow-up support. In contrast, two critical reviews cited rude interactions with the owner and felt abandoned when post-program behavioral problems re-emerged.
Reviewers emphasize that dogs receive dedicated care during extensive multi-week training stays, growing substantially in confidence and emotional stability. Pet parents highlight that reactive dogs are handled safely and structured training is consistently reinforced during both boarding and day stays.
Clients mention multi-week board-and-train options ranging from 2.5 to 6 weeks designed to rehabilitate severe reactivity and instill obedience.
Yes, reviewers note that the team has successfully worked with local rescue organizations to train and rehabilitate challenging shelter dogs.
