pawenn summary of 12 Google reviews from April – October 2026
Dr. Chew and Dr. Jonathan receive strong praise for kindness, straight talk, and genuine care without unnecessary upselling. However, several reviewers single out a younger doctor as rushed, dismissive, and critical toward pet owners — one reviewer explicitly avoids him. The clinic overall earns loyal long-term clients, but the experience varies noticeably by which vet is seen.
Most reviewers report positive outcomes and feel their pets receive attentive, knowledgeable care. However, two critical reviewers describe deeply troubling experiences — including a pet given inappropriate care at end of life. These account for a minority but involve serious concerns that prospective clients should weigh.
Several owners highlight that Dr. Chew is upfront about costs and won't recommend anything unless he genuinely thinks it's necessary. Long-term clients describe prices as reasonable and appreciate honest guidance. However, at least one dissatisfied reviewer describes the clinic as money-focused, creating a mixed overall picture on pricing.
Reviewers suggest it's possible to request Dr. Chew or Dr. Jonathan specifically — some mention actively avoiding one of the other doctors.
Based on reviewer mentions, the clinic does offer such procedures.
Most reviewers describe the staff as friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming, though experiences with individual doctors vary.
